Hi, I'm Misty. You will catch me with a notebook and pen taking notes on whatever the Lord gives me throughout the day. I enjoy visiting small towns with my husband James, in search of unique gifts and products in quaint shops I can't find at home or locally. I have a love for the Caribbean islands. After years of depression and struggling to discover my purpose and assignment on this earth, God gave me the vision for Happy She Blooms. It's a Christian community that encourages single women to bloom in life. Blooming in life

means you know you have an assignment, a purpose in this life and you're doing it.

 

I didn’t believe I was worthy of a life better than that of my past which consisted

of hurt, rejection, and so much disappointment. That negative and narrow perspective left me with a blurred vision of my life. Because of that, I lived in fear, lacked faith, and was afraid to make moves to create my happy life. I had no joy. I. Was. STUCK! The odd thing about all of that is in spite of what I was gong through in my own personal life, I managed to have enough motivation to encourage and help those who needed me. I'm naturally one who encourages and motivates others, specifically women, to reach their goals and live out their purpose. I get overly excited witnessing women go after their dreams, knock out goals, and create a happy life. I often call myself a "purpose pusher" because if someone

tells me of a dream they would like to pursue, I immediately begin quizzing them on that they're doing to make it happen or guiding them on what to do to get

there.
